SUKIMA-PROJECT start to “Hisham akira bharoocha” ‘s management in Japan and Asia.

We are happpy to inform you that Hisham akira bharoocha have been joined to SUKIMA-PROJECT.

Hisham is one of the New York underground community’s creative leaders, continually trying to bring together the visual art, music, and fashion communities for collaboration, Hisham currently based in Brooklyn, New York.

Hisham is well known in the underground music scene for being a founding member of the bands Lightning Bolt and Black Dice. After leaving Black Dice, he created Soft Circle, a solo project that allowed him a more personal exploration of his own musical interests.  His first solo album, ‘Full Bloom’ was released in January 2007 on Eastern Developments.  Hisham has recently collaborated with the artist Doug Aitken on a sound piece which was performed at the MoMA, as well as musicians such as the experimental rock group Boredoms.

Ahonen & Lamberg are a Finnish design duo based in Paris. Anna Ahonen and Katariina Lamberg both studied at the same design university in Helsinki, Finland, but didn’t meet until they both ended up in Paris. In Spring 2006 they founded the studio and since then they have been doing art direction, graphic design and illustrations for various clients, such as Cerruti, EMI, Virgin, Uniqlo, Amnesty International, and in 2007 they co-founded a cross-cultural magazine, Dossier. The duo collaborated with Wallpaper* for our March 2009 fashion issue, producing a number of typographic title treatments based on redrawing A. M. Cassandre’s Bifur.

SUKIMA-project start to distribution NEW YORK BASED culture magazine “DOSSIER” to ASIA, and JAPAN.

Dossier is a bi-annual arts and culture journal incorporating fashion, photography, creative writing, art, music and culinary pursuits. Inspired by the French word for file, we have no themes, features or specific guidelines. We’re independently published and owned.
